The Request:
LondonWaste is one of the capital's largest waste management companies, offering a range of recycling and disposal services to both the public and private sectors. LondonWaste elected to use Lansdowne during 2004, looking for greater levels of day-to-day service and pro-activity than the levels they had previously received from a global ad agency.
The Response:
With an already established and respected brand name within the waste management sector, the ability to consistently attract quality staff across the broad spectrum of opportunities within LondonWaste was a concern. Levels of service, account management and creativity were the critical areas that LondonWaste felt they needed to improve to attain the highest recruitment levels on a consistent basis. Lansdowne was selected to provide this change and generate measurable recruitment success.
A new creative visual approach was developed to reflect the corporate identity and sector, and new media rationales put forward against a range of vacancies resulting from natural attrition. Combined with more knowledge-enabled copy development, new advertising was created in partnership with the HR team and an enjoyable and successful partnership has ensued.
